Indian girls suffer another defeat

 
Much was expected of the Indians against Chinese Taipei in the level I competition of the ongoing 23rd FIBA Asia women championship on Friday.

 

Spirited Malaysia fought back strongly to beat Lebanon 84-69 in Level II competition on Friday in ongoing 23rd FIBA Asia women championship here at Chennai.

 

Uzbekistan outplay Sri Lanka 89-48 in the first competition in Level II game on Friday. Sri Lanka was no match for strong Uzbekistan girls, who raced to 27-12 lead in the first quarter of the macth.
